CGI Review

The movie AMP is a CGI master piece, but the storyline from a Sci-Fi genre falls short. Animater Adam Morisett did block buster movies such as Ender's Game, District 9, and Iron Man before tacking AMP. Here is the link to the film. this film showed what's possible with CGI. It begins with a realistic, yet CGI robot that was awesome. Instantly I was hooked.

You are rewarded at the end of the film with one of the biggest fights. When the CGI robot and the other CGI robot dog fight, they both jump up, collide to begin the fight. The camera angles that display the setting and scene made the moment perfect for me. They used the placement of the camera to raise emotions from this scene.

The main reason whay this scene was so great was hiw the setting came together with the other types of design that went into this. For example, the way they used music to wrap the whole thing together made me jump to the edge of my seat while watching this fight. The emotion that is brought to light while watching this is very impressive.

My view of the use of CGI i this film was the secret sauce to making a successful movie and atmosphere for the audience. This movie makes me hopeful for the future of CGI and where it could go int the future. I think CGI will become the future for Sci-Fi film-making.
